I thought I was the only one who was in love with song, but apparently not :)! So I am putting out here, so those who have not heard it yet, can. The words of this song are truly truly beautiful.
“We are His portion and he is our prize
Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes
If grace is an ocean, then we are all sinking
So Heaven meets earth like an unforeseen kiss
And my heart turns violently inside of my chest
I don’t have time to maintain these regrets
When I think about the way
And oh, how He loves us
Oh how He loves us,
How He loves us so.”
We sang this song this weekend. And I mean SANG. Screaming, yelling, sobbing it out. From the deepest, darkest bottom of our hearts because we realized how immense our God is. How impossible He is to describe, to define, to completely comprehend. His vastness, power and might. We realized how much more we could be doing for Him, how much more we could be thinking of Him, how much more we could give to Him, how much farther we could open our hearts to let Him in.
And it was not about how we felt about God, about how nice He had been, or about how “fuzzy” we were feeling inside. But when God’s presence falls and moves among men, there’s nothing more you can do but realize His majesty.
Chale.
God is real. And He loves us!
““I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works.”
