The Lord's Song
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Amen
A tale of a journey where we cry for no reason, waste or energy on the things that don’t matter and a waste of breath on arguments. We are shifting our gaze away from that to our God in heaven and the finer things in life. We from here on, end our useless battle with the dust.

This really hit home not only because it’s so beautifully written, but also because it states the very obvious truth. That there is that challenge to shift our gazes away from the things that hurt us, break us, drive us crazy, make us happy, from the things we cannot resist, and from the things we detest, and turn our eyes to our God in heaven. And also the wonderful symbolism in there. This life is without God nothing but dust. Like Adam was before the breath of life was breathed into his nostrils. And so we turn away from ourselves, from who we once were, from this empty life that can vanish just as quickly as it was made, and we walk in the Spirit. No longer fighting a useless battle with the dust, but being made, transformed by Spirit of God, being ALIVE.
